Boosted Water

Properties with multiple bathrooms and good pressure may suffer with poor flow when multiple outlets are used, causing problems showering. An accumulator stores water under pressure which it releases into the system when the demand is high ensuring high pressure water to all services for a sustained period of time.

Stored Pumped Water

Some properties have poor incoming mains water pressure and flow. The solution is a stored pumped solution like the Stuart Turner iBoost which stores water at low pressure in a reservoir and is pumped to all services using a multistage pump.

Shower and Whole House Pumps

Shower and whole house pumps are the traditional choice for boosting hot and cold water with a gravity hot and cold water system. They can provide high pressure to showers or the whole house.

Identify your internal and external cold mains water shut off valves (you should have both). Make sure they work and that they are accessible. This should be carried out annually to prevent them seizing. If your shut off valves don’t move, please don’t force them and call a professional.

Safely check areas of your property where pipe work may be exposed to extreme hot and cold weather and inspect pipe work to see if it is suitably insulated.
