Andrew and Maria’s Boosted Water System

Andrew and Maria had a boosted hot and cold water system that was insufficient to serve their large luxurious bath.

More capacity was the answer. The existing accumulator in the loft, although a reasonable size was not enough to completely fill the bath before flow dropped away to the standard incoming mains pressure. We added a new platform to safely support an extra accumulator which was installed in series with the existing unit. We also upgraded the pipe work as required to ensure the best performance possible. The bath now fills in good time. We revisit each year to service the boiler, the unvented cylinder and both accumulators.
